This month we welcomed over 40 people to the factory as part of the Heritage Open Days national event. This yearly event take place each September and gives members of the public chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences. Following a discussion on the history of the business we gave everyone a tour of the factory and an insight into what goes into manufacturing our Jukeboxes.
Shortly after the tour finished we began receiving emails to thank us for the morning’s event – this one summed up many of them.
‘Thank you for this morning ‘s tour. It was extremely interesting and informative.
It’s good to know that there are still family firms in Leeds which look after their employees and are world leaders in their fields. Also, how philanthropic and foresighted that 10% of the workforce are apprentices. The insight into the very many disciplines involved in making jukeboxes was revelatory. Thank you once again for the marvellous morning’.
