This special Sound Leisure Wurlitzer 1015 is Alan Black’s personal tribute to the iconic Paul Fuller design, carrying forward a legacy of style, craftsmanship, and sound that has defined generations. The model holds particular significance for our founder, as the original 1015 shares the same birth year as Alan himself.
Even more meaningful, this tribute jukebox was commissioned directly by the Wurlitzer family. It represents not only a celebration of design history but also a shared commitment to preserving the spirit of the world’s most famous jukebox.
Pictured here in the Sound Leisure factory, Alan and Chris Black prepare to ship their tribute model to the Wurlitzer family. Upon its arrival, Ludwig, Luise, Gudrun, and Bernd Wurlitzer proudly received their new 1015. Together, the Black and Wurlitzer families—who have each brought music and joy to millions—continue to honour and evolve the legacy of the “King of Jukeboxes.”
