Tender Brief

Website Redesign & Digital Platform Development

Sound Leisure Limited

  1. Introduction

Sound Leisure Limited is seeking proposals from suitably experienced digital agencies and development partners for the redesign and rebuild of the company’s website and associated digital functionality.

Sound Leisure manufactures premium classic-style jukeboxes in vinyl, CD and digital formats from its facility in Leeds, supplying products globally to high-end residential customers, luxury hospitality venues, and international distributors. The business also operates a UK-based rental division supplying jukeboxes and background music systems to pubs and clubs.

The company is currently repositioning its brand and customer journey to reflect an evolving customer base and changing market expectations. The new website will form a central part of this strategic transition, moving away from a traditional ecommerce-led presentation toward a premium, lifestyle-led consultative digital experience.

  1. Project Overview

The existing website presents products primarily in an online shop format. However, Sound Leisure does not sell jukeboxes directly online, with ecommerce functionality currently focused mainly on accessories.

The business requires a complete redesign and rebuild of the platform to better reflect the premium nature of its products and support future growth into luxury residential and hospitality markets.

The successful supplier will be expected to deliver a visually premium, highly functional website experience which:

  • Showcases products in aspirational lifestyle settings
  • Supports a consultative sales journey rather than direct ecommerce purchase
  • Reflects the international nature of the company’s customer base
  • Enables future scalability and product customisation
  • Improves customer engagement and lead capture
  • Supports factory tour bookings and third-party operators
  • Integrates structured enquiry workflows with the sales and distributor network

The website should position Sound Leisure products as luxury statement pieces aligned with high-end interiors, bespoke specification, and experiential design.
