In the 1970s, we became the first British company to design, develop, and build a commercially viable jukebox platform. We went on to pioneer the early development of digitised music platforms in the 1980s and were responsible for the reintroduction of vinyl jukeboxes in 2016. Today, we remain a globally recognised and respected leader in our sector, with countless patents and industry-firsts to our name.

Our consistent success over a 40-year period, during which many long-established jukebox manufacturers such as Seeburg and Wurlitzer went out of business, is based on our ongoing commitment to developing better products and technologies and our unwavering dedication to high-quality British manufacturing.

Our factory is truly a place of wonder, and we’re proud champions of UK manufacturing! Take a tour, and you can literally see the entire jukebox production process under one roof, from raw wood entering at one end to the finished masterpieces leaving the other. To ensure quality is built into every component, we complete as much of the process as is humanly possible in-house, right down to manufacturing our own printed circuit boards.

We continue to hand-build every jukebox in our UK factory, allowing us to develop our workforce’s skills. Here, the expert knowledge and guidance of our experienced senior team blends with the energy and passion of new apprentices and recruits.

We produce the simplest and most effective Classic Jukebox technology anywhere in the world. To do this, we use state-of-the-art proprietary technology, owned, designed, developed, and manufactured entirely in-house by our talented engineering team, and available exclusively in Sound Leisure products. It’s only by retaining this level of control that we’re able to ensure a customer experience that is truly without compromise.

Over the decades, Sound Leisure has developed dozens of commercial jukebox technologies and associated equipment. From 7” vinyl mechanisms in the late 1970s, to CD solutions in the early 1980s, and digital platforms in the late 1990s, we’ve filled venues across the world with music for over 40 years and produced hundreds of thousands of jukeboxes.
