Alan, who normally likes to keep himself to himself, was overwhelmed by the team welcome to the factory this morning where they presented him with flowers, a beautiful vinyl cut record plaque, a hamper and a tree for his garden.
Alan officially turns 80 this Sunday. From starting Sound Leisure in a garage in Leeds back in 1978 he has pioneered jukebox innovation and technology for over 48 years, he’s shaped both our company and the Jukebox industry during this time, and from listening to his speech this morning we see no reason why this will stop now.
As always Alan will be back at his design bench tomorrow and we cant wait to see what comes next! Happy Birthday, Alan – You are a legend!
