CPTPP (Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership)
We were honoured and delighted to be asked to showcase one of our Wurlitzer Jukeboxes at last night’s celebration of the UK joining the CPTPP Free Trade Agreement that takes place next week – 15th December 2024.
Due to the close working relationship we have with our distributors Flat4, who are based in Kanagawa, we were asked to represent the UK’s trade with Japan and support delegates from the Embassy of Japan in the UK, where we were delighted to be joined by Japanese Ambassador to the UK – His Excellency Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki.
The new trade agreement will assist all UK businesses in exporting and importing to and from Japan, Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, and Vietnam, and comes at a timely point for international trade.
It was a very informative evening, and Sound Leisure will be pushing into more regions following this agreement.
