Family Business Utd and Barclays Bank
Last night we hosted a group of 40 people at the factory as part of Family Business United and Barclays Bank –‘Family business’ series of events. Family businesses employ just shy of 14 million people and generates £1.7 trillion in turnover, and £575 billion to UK GDP, a quarter (27%) of the government’s total receipts. It is always great to get in a room with other businesses of all sizes who share the same issues, mainly skills shortages – but who are all passionate about moving their businesses forward. It is great to hear some of their stories whilst also sharing ours.
